After weeks of work in the main grandstand at Brough Park, good news for Diamonds supporters.
A spokesman for Newcastle Sapphire Engineering Diamonds has been able to give the good news that the restaurant part of the main grandstand will be open for use again this Sunday when The Diamonds take on the Championship 4's Winners Peterborough Panthers.

Peterborough who boast GB and ex-GP star Chris "Bomber" Harris in their midst are sure to give The Diamonds a tough test on Sunday and it's great to announce that for some they will be able to return to their favoured viewing positions within Brough Park.

Not all areas have been completed and cleared and sadly the upstairs bar is not ready for re-opening but having the restaurant are back in use is a clear indication that things are moving in the right direct.

Tapes-Up, as usual, on Sunday are at 6:30pm.
