The Newcastle Sapphire Engineering Diamonds look to plunder further away points as they ride in to Berwick tonight to take on The Bandits.
After a great win at Scunthorpe on Bank Holiday Monday and an excellent draw at Peterborough last Wednesday The Diamonds look to continue a fine week as they race against local rivals Berwick tonight.

Not that The Bandits will be easy opposition especially as in recent weeks they have turned their fortunes around and will be looking for a fourth consecutive home win.

The Diamonds will be without #1 Robert Lambert who is racing for Team GB in The World Under-21 Cup Final and they bring in Edinburgh's flying American Ricky Wells to guest in his place.

Last time Wells was at Shielfield Park he helped the Monarchs to a 48 - 42 win by scoring 14 from his five rides. The Diamonds will be hoping he can bring that kind of form to their colours tonight.

Tapes-Up at The Home of The Bandits will be at 7:00pm.
