With Robert Lambert unable to return in time from Germany to take his place in the DIamonds line-up at Workington tonight, it's former GP star and Great Britain star Chris "Bomber" Harris who plugs the gap.
The Diamonds otherwise are at full strength as they look to continue their fine recent run and hope to take some precious away points at a track where they face another GB star in the home side's Craig Cook.
The battles between Cook and Diamond's own Stevie Worrall as well as Harris promise to be worth the admission money alone although it's the top two's backup that hold the key for Team Manager George English.
"I'm confident that Bomber will do a great job replacing Robert as he's a real racer that gives his all in every outing. Together with Stevie they form a spearhead that will take the battle to The Comets."
"But what we need if we are going to get any reward is support from the rest of the guys and I believe they all have it in them to produce the goods and give us every chance of improving our away record."
