LAWRENCE HEPPELL
After a few weeks of inactivity for the Boiler Technical Services Diamonds, the side takes to the track again on Saturday night at the Workington Comets in cup action.

The first leg was on July 8th at Brough Park when the blazing Comets took an unexpectedly decent win 40-50 meaning come this Saturday July 28th at 7.00pm at Derwent Park, the Diamonds have a real game of catch-up to play which will test the resolve of the Byker side to the max with a place in the semi final the prize up for an aggregate victory.

There will be no home match at Newcastle this Sunday with the next home meeting for the BTS Diamonds coming along on Sunday August 5th with a visit from the Glasgow Tigers in the league.
