BTS Diamonds look to turn fortunes around v Bears on Sunday.
Saturday 10th August 2019, 11:41 UK
The Newcastle BTS Diamonds will be hoping for an upturn in fortune for Sunday’s Championship League encounter against local rivals Redcar Bears, as they have lost their last three matches, including last week’s home and away defeats to Somerset Rebels and away at tonight’s opponents on Friday night.
Thomas Jorgensen, the Diamonds top scorer on Friday night said on social media: “I struggled to get out of the starts at Redcar, but they rode very well and deserved their victory. We will be looking to reverse things on Sunday!”

Martin Phillips, who took charge of Team Manager duties said: “As has been our downfall this season, we can't get everyone firing at full power all at once, but if all the lads were we'd be having some great wins.”

Both sides remain unchanged for Sunday, although the Diamonds welcome back Team Manager and Co-promoter George English, who returns to control his side.

Line-ups: Diamonds: Steve Worrall, Ulrich Ostergaard, Lasse Bjerre, Matty Wethers, Thomas Jorgensen, Max Clegg, Danny Phillips.

Redcar: Erik Riss, Kasper Andersen, Michael Palm Toft, Jordan Stewart, Charles Wright, Tom Woolley, Nathan Greaves.
