BTS Diamonds vs Redcar Bears Knockout Cup Final (take three) preview
Saturday 26th October 2019, 10:56 UK
STEVE PARK
Newcastle “Boiler Technical Services” Diamonds and their opponents, the Redcar “Agilia” Bears, will be hoping that it will be “third time lucky” on Sunday (6.30pm start), after the two previous postponements.

Diamonds Team Manager George English said: “The weather forecast looks good for Sunday, for a change, so it’s all systems go to get the second leg done and we are eager to overturn the twelve points difference.”

The Diamonds are forced into a change, as Lasse Bjerre is ill and they have called in Edinburgh Monarch James Sarjeant as a guest and will continue to use Rider Replacement for Thomas Jorgensen.

The Bears are still without Michael Palm Toft and have brought in former Bear Ben Barker as cover.

Line-ups:

Diamonds: Steve Worrall (capt), Rider Replacement for Thomas Jorgensen, James Sarjeant (guest), Matty Wethers, Ulrich Ostergaard, Max Clegg, Danny Phillip

Redcar: Charles Wright (captain), Kasper Andersen, Ben Barker (guest), Jordan Stewart, Erik Riss, Tom Woolley, Nathan Greaves
